You can keep the default look, apply a pattern or color fill to parts of the building, and also use the object's top view to display it on the floor plan. You can change the way your project is presented on the floor plan using the 2D Properties tab of the Inspector. This option can be activated in the View menu. The 2D Plan view allows you to edit the current floor and to see the walls of the floors above or below the current one at the same time. To choose which of the floors should be displayed, select it in the Building Properties tab of the Inspector. The lower section lets you add and remove stories. The upper section displays a list of stories in the project where you can choose one to open. To control rulerlines, use the View > Rulerlines menu.Ĩ – The story pop-up menu. Rulerlines are thin lines that show the coordinates of left, right, top and bottom object edges on the rulers. When you move an object with the mouse in the 2D Plan View, the rulers can display rulerlines. You may also use the View button for this. The 2D Plan view also lets you add text and show dimensions. While you are creating the floor plan, you can draw walls, floors and ceilings, and also add objects such as windows or furniture.
